This page explains what information Central Minnesota Heating and Cooling collects through this website, what we do with it, and how to have it removed. The short version: we use what you send us to call you back, schedule the visit and do the work, and we never sell it.

What the request form collects

When you send a service request through the form on our contact page, we receive:

Your name
Your phone number
Your town
The service you picked (furnace repair, AC, heat pump and so on)
The message you typed about the problem

That's all the form asks for. We don't ask for your email address, and we never ask for payment details through the website. If you call us at 612-429-3465 instead, we'll take down the same kind of information over the phone. When we schedule a visit, we'll also ask for the service address so the technician can find the house.

How we use it

We use your information to call or text you back about your request, schedule a visit, and keep a record of the work we did, which we need to honor our repair and install warranties. We only contact you by phone or text, and only about the request you sent or the work we did for you. We don't add you to a marketing list and we don't send promotional texts.

What we don't do

We don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

We share details only when it's needed to finish a job you've asked for, and only the details that job needs. That can mean registering new equipment with the manufacturer for its parts warranty, filling out utility rebate paperwork with Xcel Energy, CenterPoint Energy or another utility, or passing your information to a financing company if you choose to apply for financing on an install.

Analytics and cookies

We use basic, privacy-friendly analytics from Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site. It counts things like page views, which pages people visit and roughly what kind of device they use, so we can tell which pages are useful. It doesn't build a profile of you, and we can't use it to identify you.

We don't run advertising trackers, retargeting pixels or social media tracking on this site, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Form submissions travel over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

Deleting or correcting your information

You can ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 612-429-3465, any day between 7am and 9pm, and tell us what you'd like done. We'll delete what we can. We may need to keep basic job and invoice records for as long as a warranty is active or tax law requires, and we'll tell you if that applies.

Children

This site is meant for homeowners and property managers. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
