How much does a new furnace cost in Eden Prairie?

What does zoning a walkout level add to the cost in Eden Prairie?
Zoning is its own line on the quote, on top of the equipment. National cost guides such as HomeGuide put a two-zone retrofit in an existing home at $1,700–$2,800 and three zones at $2,200–$3,500. The number of dampers, where the second thermostat goes and whether the blower can slow down for one small zone all move it. That last point is why zoning often gets priced alongside a variable-speed furnace or heat pump.
Does CenterPoint's furnace rebate come off our Eden Prairie quote?
No. The written quote is the installed price, and the rebate is a separate claim you make with CenterPoint Energy once the furnace is in. A proposal or estimate doesn't count as proof of purchase, and the application has to go in during the same calendar year as the install, so a late-December job needs prompt paperwork.
